There is all manner of exciting weapons to developer miHoyo’s popular action RPG, which you’ll typically get either through crafting or looting. Sometimes, however, the very best of them require a combination of both. Here’s how to get the Dragonspine Spear in Genshin Impact if you’re struggling to complete the associated quest.
How to Get Dragonspine Spear in Genshin Impact?
To get the Dragonspine Spear, you’ll first need to begin the quest The Festering Fang, which is located at the very entrance of Dragon Spine. You need to speak with Iris the Adventurer to begin the quest, who will send you to Orbin the weaponsmith. Orbin will then tell you the materials required to forge the spear.
You’ll need the following:
x50 Star Silver Ore
x3 Strange Tooth
x1 Northlander Polearm Prototype
Above you can see a screenshot of which areas within the Dragonspine region you can find Strange Tooth, while Star Silver Ore is spread across Dragonspine in abundance. This Reddit post has a handy breakdown of all Silver Ore deposits if you’re stuck.
Once you have everything you need, return to Orbin and he’ll then send you on one final mission to “Extract Vitality with Dragon Tooth,” which unsurprisingly requires you to offer one Strange Tooth to the “core.”
From there, return to Orbin and you’ll be able to craft the spear after you submit to him the materials listed above.
If you aren’t up to speed with the Dragonspine Spear’s stats, here’s what to expect from your new weapon:
“A Spear created from the fang of a dragon. It is oddly warm to the touch.“
